 Hello y'all!

Let me start by saying that I am thrilled about teaching the 2nd grade. I know we will have a fantastic year. This is my first year with Farwell ISD and my 6th year as an educator. I truly love what I do!

I followed  in my mother's footsteps and graduated from West Texas A&M in 2011. My father graduated from Texas A&M, so as far as my father is concerned, I qualify as an Aggie! I grew up in a strong agricultural family. My father was a county agent, so I started showing in pee-wee events when I was in 2nd grade. I continued my FFA and 4-H career through out high school. I am looking forward to supporting and watching my students in their educational and Ag careers.

I am certified from Pre-K through 6th grade and I have previously taught the 3rd and 5th grade. I will be team teaching with Mrs. Barnes this year. I will teach Language Arts and Science and Mrs. Barnes will teach Math and Social Studies.

It's just my husband and I right now, but we do have one fur baby named Blayze.  I grew up in Graham, Texas. Ironically, Graham is also the home of the Steers and Lady Blues! Teaching at Farwell already feels like home.

Farwell ISD's mission is to provide quality instruction to all students so they will develop into responsible, adaptable, contributing citizens with caring attitudes. The district is responsible for helping all students achieve their fullest potential since all students can learn. With this in mind, an objective-based curriculum continuum is utilized at all levels. It will include the facility for ongoing evaluation and change in order to meet the evolving needs of students.
